Preliminary Activities 1.) Greetings.

4.) Grouping the children into 3 groups.

A. Elicit (3min) Presenting the objective:


Today to our new lesson you will able to:

shown.

Drill:
Instruction: Let's all read the sentence in the flashcard.

B. Engage (5minutes) Direction: Try to complete the sentence using the


prepositions in, on and under.

The dog is sleeping _____ the table.

The clothes are____ the cabinet.

........... The books are ____ the desk.

The mouse is ____ the box.

The dog is _____ the table.

C. Explore (10 minutes) Today we will do another activity

1. Group the pupils into three (3)


2. Set norms to follow during the group work
3. Instruct each group to get the materials
. Perform the activity.
Group 1- The Hamster

Direction: Try to observe the picture shown, put a check to


the appropriate preposition to be used based on the picture
shown.
Group 2- Match me!
Direction: choose a partner and match the picture to the
sentence. Find the appropriate partner.

Group 3 - Complete me!


Direction: choose a partner, each pair would be given a
strip of picture and all you need to do is to find where is the
appropriate sentence and paste the picture beside the
sentence.
D. Explain ( 10 minutes) ACTIVITY
Direction: Choose the appropriate preposition, choose a strips that can
answer the question and paste it in front.

(After the activity, the teacher will explain the preposition)


E. Elaborate (5 minutes) Individual activity
Direction: Raise thumbs Up if the statement shown is true, and Raise
Thumbs down if the statement is false.
(Teacher will show a picture,with sentence)

G. Extend(5minutes) Direction: Choose the correct word, to complete the sentence
