My Quarantine Life

Good Morning Miss Harni, my name is Samuel and today I will tell a story about my life during
quarantine. I remember the first day of quarantine it started on Monday, 16 March 2020. Honestly at that
time I am so happy because I felt that I was free from the responsibility for studying at school. I really
enjoyed at the start of my quarantine life. At that time I even hoped that this quarantine holiday would be
extended.

One month later I started to feel bored because I haven't seen any of my friends since the
quarantine day has been started. At that time, I felt that this moment just felt very strange to me.
Especially when I was just starting an online school in nine grade. It just felt really boring to me. At that
moment I felt that I was still not used to this situation.

After a while I started filling my spare time with some activities that could get me out of this
boredom. I started some exercise to make my body more stronger. It made me begin to get rid of my
boredom of this quarantine days. But still, this quarantine day just kept make me feeling so lonely and I
still not being able to meet my friends until now. At that moment I could only wait for Christmas day to
change my situation.

I am waiting day after day to celebrate Christmas with my family. I just feel really excited to
celebrate this Christmas. But just a few days before Christmas, my younger brother was sick. I felt very
sad at that time. One day before the Christmas celebration, my younger brother was diagnosed with DBD
disease. At that moment I felt so sad and I could only hope that my younger brother can be healthy again.

I watch over him every night so I can keep an eye on my younger brother's condition. A few days
later my mother told me that my younger brother had recovered from the disease. I felt very grateful that I
can see my younger brother healthy again. Even though I don't celebrate Christmas I am still grateful
because my younger brother is still being able to be healed again. That's all from me and thank you for
