others believe they should take care of themselves. Discuss both views and give your
own opinion.

Question 2: Some people focus on news in their country, while others think it is more
important to be aware of international news. Discuss both views and give your opinion.

On one hand, the idea of governments should support retired people financially is
beneficial to some extent. Firstly, people who retired mean that they have been doing
their work for a period of time, that is qualified for provisions of an individual organization
so they would have an honor to receive a support from the governments. Secondly,
since most of them are the elderly, their ability to work could not completely catch up with
younger people. Therefore, giving them pensions could lead to the least financial burden
for the descendant.

On the other hand, there are a variety of reason why I believe that focus on news in the
country are more essential than international news. The first reason is local news would
be more related to the civilian’s daily life. Furthermore, emergency news such as
earthquake, storm, tsunami,... should be rapidly updated for people to response
immidiately to these natural disasters. As a result, pay attention to news in country could
facilitate the works in both protecting and developing a country’s facility and financial.
