The Melba, Printing Publishing & Packaging S.C. invites eligible bidders to purchase 80
GSM 84 CM Wood free reel paper by National competitive bidding (NCB).

Lot Description Quantity Bid Security Amount

1 80 GSM 84 CM wood-free 500 ton 1% of the total contract price but
reel paper not exceeding 500,000.00 Birr

1. The bidders must provide a separate financial & technical Original, copy. Bid bond &
supporting documents in separate well sealed and packed in one big envelope duly
marking the inner envelope as ORIGINAL & COPY.
2. Bidders should submit currently renewed relevant trade licenses, taxpayer and VAT
certificates, supplier's list registration certificates, and tax clearance certificates.
3. Interested eligible bidders may obtain further information from MPPPSC and collect
the bidding document at the address given below at 9(a) from 08:00 am to 05:00 pm
until the bid closing date.
4. A complete set of bidding documents in Amharic can be purchased by interested
bidders at the address given below at 9(a) upon payment of a non-refundable fee of
Birr 300 (Three Hundred Birr). The method of payment will bethrough deposit
(deposit slip required).
5. It is forbidden for any bidders to quote a bid price depending on the price quoted by
any other bidders.
6. Bid must be delivered to the address below at 9(b) on or before 25 March 2024 at
2:00 P.M.
 7. All bids must be accompanied by a bid security amount mentioned in the table above
for each lot or for all-in-one security in the form of CPO or unconditional Bank
guarantee or Counter guaranteed from reputable Banks in the name of Melba
Printing, Publishing & Packaging S.C.
8. Bids will be opened in the presence of the bidders or their representatives who
choose to attend the event at the address below at 9(b) at 2:10 P.M. on 25, March
2024
9. (a) Documents will be issued at Bole Michael IJA Developers building next to Cargo

10. MPPPSC reserves the right to reject any or all bids and any items on the bid.
