ANSWER : The formal declaration of a person who executed that it is his

free and voluntary act and deed; that said person appeared before the notary
public at the place and on the date stated therein; that he exhibited his
community tax certificate and gave the number, date, and place and issuance
of the same.

4. When is an acknowledgment necessary in a document?

ANSWER : Acknowledgment is necessary in a document to solemnize the

execution of an instrument of writing.

5. What is a pleading? What is an initiatory pleading?

ANSWER : Pleading is a written statement of the respective claim and

defense submitted to the court for appropriate judgment. In broader sense, it
embraces all proceedings whom the time of filing of the complaint until the
issue is joined or even until the termination of the proceedings, but the Rules
 of Court specifies pleading as a complaint, an answer, counter claim, cross
claim, reply, third party complaint, fourth party complaint, and other similar
complaints.

Initiatory pleading is the complaint, permissive counterclaim, cross-claim,

third party , complaints and complaints-intervention.
