• Cancellations must be made within 24 hours of departure time by calling Ms.
Sandy Osborn at 256.765.5054 and Ms. Hollon McCullar at 256.765.4826.
• All university policies and procedures must be adhered to while on university
business.
• At no time should a university-owned vehicle be used for personal use.

Instructions for drivers

•Pickup your vehicle keys at the front office of Facilities. Driver must have a valid driver’s license
(original and a copy).
•The vehicle should be picked up and returned to the motor pool (at the back of facilities at east
campus).
•Clean out debris, leave not less than one quarter tank of gasoline in the vehicle and lock the
vehicle used.
•After completion of your trip drop the vehicle keys into the brown key drop box located on the
bus garage.
•If you are involved in any accident with this vehicle, make sure you have the details in writing.
There should be a police record of each accident. The driver of the vehicle is responsible for filing a
written report to the state authorities on ALL accidents and for the completion of the last page of
this form.
•The insurance identification card is located in the glove compartment of the vehicle.
•If a mechanical breakdown occurs with the vehicle contact Micah Hamner (256-443-3616).
