Something insidious has wormed it’s way into our family: a
STAIN that threatens to consume us all. When it arrived we
tried to ignore it, to pretend it wasn’t happening until we
simply couldn’t take it any longer.
We may not have created it, we sure as hell didn’t invite it in,
but it’s our problem now and it’s here to stay. Will we band
together as a family to clean up this mess or fall apart under
generations of dead weight?
Before play can begin we’ll need to establish the nature of that
threat. Card prompts and the Tilt Table will help those with a
background in improvisational play, especially if you are
familiar with the works of Bong Joon Ho (The Host) or Jordan
Peele (Us). For added inspiration, consider the suggestions below.
The Wilson Family Creature Feature

It started with a simple leak down at the old waste treatmant facility. A small
problem that went unoticed by everyone. As often happens in life, that little leak
grew up to became a big problem and here we are at the center of it all.
The Stain That Walks

Back, far back, when our ancestors first came to this country, they arrived with a
dirty little secret in tow. That secret placed a STAIN on our family line that can
never be washed clean. For generations, we dealt with it the best we knew how but
it’s back in force this time, and it wants to stay.
The Other-Side
Once the family estate was a beautiful place. It’s high walls and vaulted ceilings
laquered in white paint. Bannisters that shone like pearls in the moonlight. Now the
flaws in those strong walls have turned to gaping cracks and I don’t even recognize
myself in the mirror anymore. Will we ever go back to being the family we once were,
or will we be replaced by something more raw, more frightening, and more real?
