On September 3 and 4, 2024, the Philippine Institute of Certified Public Accountants (PICPA),
the accredited professional organization of CPAs in the Philippines, Visayas-Mindanao
(VisMin) Region will hold its 7th International Conference at Westin Plaza Hotel and Resort in
New York City, USA, with the theme “Beyond Numbers – Redefining the Roles of CPAs”.

The conference aims to update the CPAs and other professionals, on the latest and most
pertinent developments particularly on the skills demanded by our highly disruptive
environment and digitalization. The 2-day conference will feature top speakers who are
competent and subject matter experts, carefully selected for an enriching experience vital for
CPAs to deliver value and relevant advice to their organizations and stakeholders.

We choose speakers that provide expertise on topics such as accounting of innovative

technologies, effects of artificial intelligence on accountants, best practices in leading your
accounting firm in the new normal and cross border tax practices.

We would be very happy to have as one of our Resource Speaker on either September 3 or
September 4, 2024. This conference is conducted not for commercial purpose but to enhance
our members’ understanding of the relevant issues affecting the practice of accountancy not
only in the Philippines but in other countries.
