Subject: Technical specifications for essay writing

All students are required to submit a 350-word cause and effect essay on a topic of
their choice.

The essay should be complete in both form and substance. Form refers to the required
parts of an essay, including the technical format, in-text citations, and at least three (3)
references. Substance refers to the content of the essay as explained laboriously in
class.

The essay must be printed on TWO PAGES (A4 bond paper, simplex printing). The
required paper margins are as follows: left, 1.25 inch; right, 1 inch; top, 1 inch;
bottom, ½ inch. Use the font Arial 12 and follow double spacing for paragraphs (single
spacing for all other parts). The first page (top) must contain the following information
in the given format.

The reference entries must be arranged in alphabetical order and properly formatted
following APA 7: Periodicals. Below is an example.
