Network management, Layer 2 roaming, security

FAT AP is used in the traditional WLAN network, which

integrates user authentication, user data encryption, roaming
technology, QoS, network management and other functions. It's
cheap .Each FAT AP is a separate system, which means it is only
suitable for small wireless networks.
However, the disadvantages of FAT AP are:
• Each FAT AP is configured and maintained independently, and the
workload is heavy.
•The configuration is saved at FAT AP itself.
• FAT AP does not work together to support more advanced
functions.
