08 WLAN Optimization Overview III
08 WLAN Optimization Overview III
Different from the wired network, the wireless network evaluation focuses on the device
quality. In many cases, the quality of the wireless network lies in the overall quality of the air
interface.
The status of the air interface is an integrated problem involving network design, and device
selection, antenna system design and deployment, construction quality, software
deployment quality, environmental changes, and other factors. Therefore, improving the
quality of the wireless network requires systematic optimization.

• Delivery commercialization can improve service professionalism and service delivery value.
• IPMT process is a powerful guarantee for the quality of product development. Similarly, after
the service delivery is commercialized, it helps to guarantee the service delivery quality and
enhance service delivery satisfaction.

• Obtain the required knowledge and skills through training and certification.
• Professional and technical personnel with knowledge and skills need to be
trained or coordinated in advance.
Tool Preparation and Use
• Tools include software and hardware tools required for project evaluation,
including signal collection tools, testing tools, and acceptance tools.
• The relevant personnel must be familiar with the tools in advance to improve
delivery efficiency.

• After the establishment of the optimization project team, the fully confirm the site
information, focuses, communication mechanisms, staff arrangement, and
scheduling with the customer in a timely manner; establish the delivery
procedures, assign tasks, and prepare for the optimization.
• The output of the overall optimization solution can be considered as either the
output of a phase or the start of the next phase, which depends on the initial
needs of the project.
• The output of the optimization solution should be able to guide on the follow-up
optimization operations and have both macro assessment and analysis and
details of the operational guidance.
Determining Final Acceptance Methods and Standards with the Customer
• Communicate and confirm acceptance methods and criteria with the customer in
advance. If necessary, revision or replacement suggestions can be proposed to make
the acceptance criteria comply with actual project capability.
• Acceptance criteria are generally determined before the project starts and can be
changed according to the actual project situations.
• Generally, both the customer and project implementers need to participate in the
project acceptance. The acceptance can be implemented by means of sampling and
evaluation according to the assessment methods. As with normal engineering
projects, non-conforming items can be optimized for multiple times until the loop is
closed.
