TURN-OVER SPEECH

Good morning to our vibrant and engaged school principal, Mrs. Carina Untalasco, to the
faculty and staff at Sual National High School, as well as to the juniors and seniors!

The 13th of June 2023 will go down in history as one of the most significant days for both the
newly elected Supreme Secondary Learners Government and me. The time is flying by too
quickly, and I must be honest when I say that I am not happy with the way I live. Although I
freely confess that I am not yet capable of taking the reins as a leader, I nevertheless feel
privileged to do what I can to help you, my fellow classmates.

I'm here to tell you that being a student leader is the hardest thing you could ever
accomplish. You must effectively manage your time. You must embrace your obligations
wholeheartedly and find pleasure in the entire process. Leadership is a never-ending process of
learning and coping; therefore, you need to be tough and willing all the time. Beyond those
things, though, promise that you will love it in the middle of your journey. You will pick up a lot
of knowledge that you can apply elsewhere. You'll come to understand along the way that one of
the most enduring memories of your secondary life will always be leading others.

I was given leadership duties by my fellow Sual NHS students. It is my honor and
privilege to hand over this key of duties to you, Ms. Aian Fabiana, at this time. Now that we
have completed our part, it is time to pass it on to you.

This Key of Responsibility, which represents the obligations placed on your shoulders as
the newly elected SSLG President, has my whole endorsement. Continue to uphold the
reputation of our university, fan the flame and keep it ablaze, and work to bring our beloved
Alma Mater respect and recognition. This key represents the many doors you can unlock as well.
Open every door that will take you in the right direction, and seize every chance that comes your
way. We want to see you guide your fellow students effectively.

God bless!
