In-can preservation of CLiQFLOW® associative thickener

We herewith like to inform you about the planned revision of our in-can preservative package used in some
of our CLiQFLOW® associative thickeners.

We have decided to replace the biocide package in the thickeners to substitute pyrithione zinc due to its
reprotoxic properties. Additionally the products will meet more requirements, for example Nordic Swan
Ecolabel. The change in biocide will not affect the composition or performance of the active associative
thickeners.

As of 1st of February 2024 all production will be made with a different biocide package. This will not impact
the classification the final product MSDS

The revised in-can preservative package will be follows

99 ppm BIT < 250 ppm BIT
99 ppm Pyrithione zinc < 15 ppm CIT/MIT
450 ppm ZnO n/a

and will apply to below VOC-free associative thickeners

- CLiQFLOW 680
- CLiQFLOW 681
- CLiQFLOW 690
- CLiQFLOW 675 VF
- CLiQFLOW 660 VF
- CLiQFLOW 660 VF-3 (EP 660 VF-3)

Updated safety data sheets will be provided in due time, latest with 1st delivery of the modified versions.
