Materials Needed:
 Paper plate
 Bright colored washable paint
 Googly eyes
 Small paper accessories
 Scissors
 Glue

Procedure:
Preparation:
 teacher will draw line of where children should cut and set out materials.

Introduction: Read Elmer the Patchwork elephant

Step-by-Step:
 Children will cut on the line
 Pick a color and lightly paint their plate
 Once dry, children can add accessories and eyes

Conclusion:
 Children will identify the animal and what color(s) they chose
