TRAINEE ENTRY REQUIREMENTS

FOR ORGANIC AGRICULTURE PRODUCTION NC II

Trainees or students wishing to apply for the training program should possess
the following requirements:

 Able to read and write;

 With good moral character;

 Ability to communicate, both oral and written

 Physically fit and mentally healthy as certified by a Public Health Officer

This list does not include specific institutional requirements such as


educational attainment, appropriate work experience, and other that may be
required of the trainees by the school or training center delivering TVET program.

GRADING SYSTEM

Competency Skills Assessment of TESDA is an assessment process that


seeks to determine whether a student can perform to the standard, expected in the
workplace based on the defined competency standards. All students are required to
take the competency skills assessment under their enrolled qualification.

The grading system be will be in accordance with performance-based test.


Students will only be rated as “COMPETENT” or “NOT YET COMPETENT”.

The Institute will grant recognitions, honors, and awards to deserving


graduating students as follows: (1) Academic Excellence, (2) Top Skills
Performance, and (3) Leadership Award.
ATTENDANCE AND ABSENCES

Enrolled students shall attend the orientation session as scheduled and are
expected to religiously attend lecture and laboratory classes.

The rules on attendance and absences follow:

1. The trainer may recommend a student for dropping if the student has
incurred absences equivalent to five (5) days from class without valid
reason. An enrolled student shall be formally dropped from the roll if after
due notice no acceptable explanation was submitted.

2. A student who incurs absences equivalent to 20% of the total number of


class hours or school days for the entire course is automatically dropped.
The student may appeal the decision to ALII President or TESDA
Provincial Office.
