Proposal
1. Title:
Soil Pollution

2. Rationale A railway derailment refers to the unintentional

displacement of a train or part of a train from its tracks. Derailments
can vary in severity, from minor incidents that cause minimal damage
or disruption to major accidents resulting in significant damage,
injuries, or even fatalities.

Aims/benefits of the micro-project: It's important to clarify that the

derailment of a railway is typically not an intentional event but rather an
unintentional incident that poses risks to safety, infrastructure, and
operations. Therefore, there are no inherent aims or benefits associated
with railway derailments.

Course Outcomes Addressed:- The primary aim of preventing

derailments is to ensure the safety of passengers, crew, and anyone in the
vicinity of railway operations. Derailments can lead to injuries, fatalities,
and environmental damage, so reducing their occurrence improves overall
safety. Railway derailments can erode public trust in the safety and
reliability of rail transportation. By effectively preventing derailments and
demonstrating a commitment to safety, railway operators can maintain or
restore public confidence in their services.
