In this first article, I would like to introduce myself. My name is Han Win
Aung and I am only child in family. My family business is Arrow Point Car
Automobiles and repair service at Muse, Shan State, Myanmar. I would like to
apply for Bachelor of computer Science (software engineering) at Maynooth
University,one of national university of Ireland.. The reason I want to choose
this subject is that I like programming and problem solving.

Why this course?

Studying computer science or software engineering can be a great
choice for many reasons. These courses provide a deep understanding of
technology and its applications, allowing me to become proficient in
programming, software development, and problem-solving. The skills I acquire
in these fields are highly transferable and in demand across various
industries, offering a wide range of career opportunities. Additionally, the
constantly evolving nature of technology ensures that I will always have the
chance to learn and grow in your career. Overall, pursuing a computer science
or software engineering course can lead to a rewarding and dynamic career
path.
What time I had already knew that I have a passion in software
engineering which was in my final project, my final year project title was
rubbish robot machine and I programmed in ardunio for robot running. At that
time, I didn't know how to programme it but I tried to write coding and watched
online resources and programmed with many difficulty. Since that time, I have
knew that I have a passion for solving problems and find the field of computer
programming extremely rewarding in this sense. As long as I can remember I
have always strived to better my understanding of the things around me and
tried to grasp knowledge that would enable me to create bigger and better
things.

Why this University?

During finding in universities in Ireland , Why I choose Maynooth
University because this university received its highest ranking so far in the
2023 edition of the Times Higher Education World University Rankings and
Top 1 younger university in Ireland. It's Software Engineering degree has a
high employability focus to prepare me for industry. Throughout the course I
will learn a mixture of vocational skills such as Java programming and project
management, alongside fundamental theory in areas such as algorithms and
mathematics. This is complemented by an optional year-long placement in
industry, alongside other opportunities to build software for industrial
clients.On completion of the course I will be able to work effectively with
today’s technologies, and to readily learn new technologies that emerge
throughout my career.

I am fully committed to excelling in the software engineering course at

Maynooth University. I am determined to work hard and overcome any
challenges that may arise. I am dedicated to achieving my goals and
mastering the necessary skills for success in this field.
For these reasons, I have decided to further my education and pursue
Software Engineering Major at Maynooth Univerisity(National University of
Ireland). This will be a great step towards the achievement of my personal,
life, and career goals. I will be able to add value to the academic experience of
Maynooth University through my hard work and dedication.
