THE PROBLEM AND ITS BACKGROUND
This chapter of the paper presents the problem and it is setting. It includes the
background of the study, the statement of the problem, conceptual framework of the study,
significance of the study, scope and delimitation of the study and it’s definition of terms.
Introduction
According to Quach, (2013), stress and worry that students feel as a result of
demanding schoolwork, high academic standards, and the pressure to perform well in their
studies is referred to as academic pressure. The mental health, general well-being, and
academic achievement of students may suffer as a result of this strain. Perform well
academically may experience elevated levels of stress, anxiety, and melancholy. Numerous
sleeping schedules, and even physical complaints like headaches and stomachaches, can
indicate this. Students immune systems might be weakened and rendered more vulnerable to

2018).
extremely bad in today's time. We live in a time where everything is a competition and
everyone is a competitor. Students are under tremendous pressure to do well at all times as a
result, which occasionally pushes them over the edge. There are many different forms of
pressure on students these days (Priya, 2018). It is not just the parents and other family
members. It is also the schools and society at large. Students today experience pressure from
society in many different ways. In addition, being competitive, the current era also lacks
space and work prospects, maybe as a result of population growth (Chiang, 2009).
Multiple studies have been conducted about academic stress and pressures, their effects on
mental health, and the general well-being of students worldwide. The results of these research
have been inconsistent. However, a consistent conclusion over an extended period of research
highlights the favorable association between parental pressure, academic stress, and
psychiatric issues. Nowadays, the majority of students experience emotional hardship related
to their academics. It may be beneficial for students to experience some degree of stress
related to their studies, but the stress that today's students experience is by no means

RESULTS AND DISCUSSION
In reporting the results, the researcher stays close to the statistical findings
without drawing broader implications or meaning from them. Further, this section
includes summaries of the data rather than the raw data (e.g., the actual scores for
individuals). A results section include tables, figures, and detailed explanations about

SUMMARY OF FINDINGS, CONCLUSIONS, AND RECOMMENDATIONS
recommendations to further enhance the concepts and the facts discussed in the
preceding chapters as provided by the results of analysis of data for the research.

Conclusions
The portion that gives meaning to your research and your results. The
objective of the Conclusion section is to examine the results, determine whether they
solve the research question, compare them within themselves and to other results
(from literature), explain and interpret them, and then draw conclusions or derive
generalizations, and make recommendations for applying the results or for further
research.
