➢ 1m = 100cm = 1000mm = (1000 𝑘𝑚 = 10−3 𝑘𝑚)
1 1
➢ 1cm = 10mm = (100 𝑚 = 10−2 𝑚) = (100000 𝑘𝑚 = 10−5 𝑘𝑚)
1 1 1
➢ 1mm = (10 𝑐𝑚 = 10−1 𝑐𝑚) = (1000 𝑚 = 10−3 𝑚 = (1000000 𝑘𝑚 = 10−6 𝑘𝑚
𝑥×1000 𝑥×1000
➢ 𝑥𝑘𝑚ℎ−1 = 60
𝑚𝑚𝑖𝑛−1 = 360
𝑚𝑠 −1
𝑥×10−5 𝑥×10−5
➢ 𝑥𝑘𝑚ℎ−1 = 60
𝑐𝑚/𝑚𝑖𝑛 = 360 𝑐𝑚𝑠 −1

𝑚𝑚/𝑚𝑖𝑛 = 360 𝑚𝑚/𝑠

Speed:
➢ Speed: The rate of change of distance with respect to change of time is called speed.
