OVERVIEW
The Ford Focus was introduced in Australia and New Zealand in
December 2018. This ANCAP safety rating applies to all variants
built from August 2019.

Dual frontal, side chest-protecting and side head-protecting RATING YEAR (DATESTAMP) 2019
(curtain) airbags are standard.
VEHICLE TYPE Small Car
All three grades of autonomous emergency braking (City,
Interurban & Vulnerable Road User) as well as lane keep assist AIRBAGS Dual frontal, side chest,
(LKA) with lane departure warning (LDW) are standard. Blind side head
spot monitoring (BSM) is available on some variants.

Protection was GOOD for all critical body regions for the 6 year
and 10 year dummies in both the frontal offset and side impact
tests. DYNAMIC TEST (FRONT) 16.00 (out of 16)
The Ford Focus is fitted with lower ISOFix anchorages on DYNAMIC TEST (SIDE) 8.00 (out of 8)
the rear outboard seats and top tether anchorages for all rear
