Introduction
The coastal landscapes of St. Mary, Jamaica, stand as a testament to the dynamic
interplay between natural forces and the environment. Nestled between the picturesque
locales of Sea Well and Don Christopher Cove, this Geography School-Based
Assessment (SBA) embarks on a captivating journey to unravel the erosional and
depositional features that shape the coastline in this region. This SBA seeks to answer
crucial questions about the dynamic forces at play: What erosional features dominate
the Sea Well to Don Christopher Cove stretch? How have these features evolved, and
what environmental factors contribute to their ongoing changes? On the flip side, what
depositional features characterise this coastal area, and what role do they play in the
broader ecosystem?
