•THESIS

Have you heard that from 1947 to 1948, Israel forced over 700,000 Palestinians to leave their
homes? For more than 54 years, Israel’s military occupation has had an impact on all aspects of
Palestinian life. Israel depopulated and destroyed hundreds of Palestinian towns and villages. This
issue is called “GENOCIDE.” This is why we must take this issue seriously.

•ARGUMENT

First, Israel killed People, Child, Hamas, and Aid Workers. As of January 30, 2024, more than 28,000
people have been killed in the Israel-Hamas war in Gaza including 81 journalists, more than 136
UNRWA aid workers and meanwhile 57,000 people have been injured, the Ministry of Health said.
Israeli attacks continue on the Gaza Strip without stopping to this day.

Second, Many facilities in Palestine destroyed by Israel.

The Palestinian Central Bureau of Statistics (PCBS) reported that during the period 7 October to 6
November 2023, 160 Palestinian school buildings were destroyed as a result of Israeli attacks. Then,
88 government office buildings were destroyed due to similar attacks and 25 hospitals were also
damaged.

Houses of worship such as mosques and churches were also destroyed, with a total of 55 units and 3
units respectively.

Third, Israel has used white phosphorus smoke for other purposes rather than attacks.

On October 11, Human Rights Watch interviewed by phone two people from the al-Mina area in
Gaza City, who described observing strikes consistent with the use of white phosphorus and as we
know the usage of white phosphorus is restricted under international humanitarian law. White
phosphorus can burn the skin down to the bone, and the chemicals can be absorbed by the body,
causing dysfunction in multiple organs, including the liver, kidneys and heart.

•REITERATION

So that’s are three reasons why we must save Palestine. There are many things we can do to help,
such as boycotting “brands” that help Israel buy weapons or donating food to the Israeli military,
raising this issue on social media and donating to Palestine.
