An Honest Act

Ce n’est pas souvent qu’on trouve des personnes qui sont honnêtes. Ce matin-là, Jean
était en retard et il s’est vite douché, s’est habillé et est allé à l’arrêt pour attendre le bus.
Il n’avait même pas pris son petit déjeuner. Quand le bus est arrivé, il s’était mis au fond
et dix minutes plus tard il était au travail.

Soudain, il a pensé à son téléphone mobile. Oh là là, il l’avait laissé dans le bus. A son
avis, il n’allait jamais retrouver ce mobile car quelqu’un allait sûrement le prendre. De
plus, son mobile était tout neuf et le modèle le plus récent sur le marché. Il était perturbé
d’avoir sûrement aussi perdu les numéros de téléphone de tous ses contacts. Il il a eu
une journée longue et difficile. A quatre heures, après le travail, il marchait lentement
vers l’arrêt de bus quand il a entendu- « Est-ce que c’est à vous, monsieur? » C’était le
chauffeur du matin qui avait trouvé son téléphone mobile et l’avait gardé dans sa poche
pour Jean. Jean était très content et cette expérience avait changé sa perception des
habitants de son pays.

An Unusual Occurrence

C’était le jour de l’examen oral et Nicole était très excitée. Aussitôt qu’elle est arrivée au lycée, elle
s’est assise devant la salle de l’examen, a reçu ses papiers et a commencé à se préparer pendant que
sa camarade de classe, Brigitte, passait son examen oral.

Cinq minutes plus tard, elle s’est précipitée dans la salle de classe et a demandé à l’examinateur

d’expliquer les instructions. Brigitte s’est mise en colère et a dit à Nicole qu’elle la dérangeait.
Immédiatement, l’examinateur a arrêté l’examen et a dit à Brigitte qu’elle était tellement désagréable
de réagir de cette façon. Brigitte a éclaté en sanglots, puis a commencé à raconter à l’examinateur
tous les problèmes qu’elle avait: elle vivait avec une tante qui ne lui permettait pas assez de temps
pour étudier, elle avait beaucoup de travail à faire.

Elle n’avait pas vraiment envie de réagir de cette façon, mais elle ne pouvait pas se retenir. L’examinateur
se sentait désolé pour elle et son attitude envers Brigitte a changé. Il l’a aidée à chercher de l’aide
professionnelle et maintenant tout va bien pour tout le monde.

Marianne's Purchase

Marianne etait tres contente. Elle avait dans sa poche la somme de deux cent cinquante
euros et elle allait en ville pour la depenser.

Marianne avait eu un job d' ete dans un petit restaurant. Elle devait faire la vaisselle
et sortir les poubelles. Elle n'aimait surtout pas sortir les poubelles et elle detestait le
patron. Mais, le salaire etait excellent et on lui offrait a manger, done elle a supporte
pendant huit semaines les conditions.

Et maintenant la voila devant le grand magasin ou elle allait acheter une nouvelle robe,
des chaussures pour l' ecole et un cadeau pour son petit ami.

Elle est entree en hate dans le magasin et est allee dans le rayon des vetements pour
femme ou elle a essaye la robe et les chaussures. Puis elle est allee dans le rayon de
musique pour acheter le cadeau de son copain. Elle etait sur le point de partir quand elle
a vu sa meilleure amie Roxanne et s'est arretee pour lui parler. Elle s'est rendu compte
qu'il etait tard, a tres vite pris ses affaires et est partie en hate pour prendre le bus.

Arrivee chez-elle, elle est vite allee dans sa chambre pour regarder ses achats mais a sa
grande surprise il n'y avait ni robe ni chaussures dans son sac et le cadeau du petit copain
n'y etait pas non plus. Dans son hate elle avait pris les affaires de quelqu'un d'autre. Elle
ne savait plus que faire.
