Communication is the foundation for interpersonal interactions, providing an outlet

for the sharing of ideas, emotions, and information. I've found that efficient communication is
extremely crucial in this generation because it influences all aspects of life, including
personal, professional, and societal.
In any communication setting, the context encompasses the vital information or
messages exchanged between the sender and the receiver. Within a classroom, instructors
play a pivotal role in classroom communication, particularly imparting essential knowledge
and guidance to the learners. They employ various modes of communication beyond
traditional verbal lectures in the classroom such as the use visual communication through
PowerPoint presentations, incorporating textual content, graphs, and other illustrative
elements to reinforce lesson concepts.
Despite the diligent efforts for effective communication, challenges such as
background noise, language disparities, and technical difficulties occasionally impede the
clarity and effectiveness of communication. Students openly seek clarification when faced
with such barriers and instructors generously respond to these queries, ensuring
comprehension through verbal elaboration and explanations. Non-verbal feedback like nods
of understanding or post-assessment performance serve as indicators of successful
communication and student learning.
In addition to that, the members of this institution ensure to value communication
ethics in their two-way communication. Individuals exhibit respect of privacy and
professionalism as they trade information and interact with one another. Instructors
demonstrate professionalism by communicating effectively with students, guaranteeing
comprehension, and supporting learning. Furthermore, students show respect by actively
interacting with instructors about course topic and communicating politely with their peers.
In Cebu Normal University classrooms, the communication process, which includes
encoding, decoding, feedback, and overcoming barriers, is highly effective. Instructors
objectively decode information, assuring clarity and objectivity, while students show
resilience in encoding despite any barriers. The effectiveness of communication is
demonstrated through the learners' feedback, which can be vocal or nonverbal.

Effective classroom communication is essential for fostering a positive learning

environment. Instructors enhance the learning experience by employing diverse
communication channels and offering constructive feedback. Recognizing and addressing
communication barriers facilitates the exchange of information, encouraging active
participation and collaborative learning among students.
