Step 1: Remove original motherboard and display

• Print out the STLs.
• Open the printer at the bottom.
• Photo all the insides of the printer.
• Tag each wire with what it connects into on the original board.

• Remove the original motherboard, keep the screws.

• Unscrew the power supply but do not disconnect it, you just need to be able to move it
around to get access to the display.
• Remove the original display, keep the screws.

• Use the template to mark and then cut the slot at the back of the printer so that the SD card
and USB ports will fit from the new motherboard.
Step 2: Fit the new motherboard
• Fit the Nano mount in to the case and secure with two screws on the right of the picture
below. I used computer case screws.

• Fit the new Nano v3 to the mount with the motherboard screws kept from step 1.
• Connect all the cables to the new motherboard and install the TMC drivers.
Step 3: Fit the display
• Install the display mount into the slot in the case with the original display screws.

• Fit the small hinge to the display mount with 2 M3 10mm screws plus two nuts.
• Feed the display cables through the slot in the display mount.

• Screw the power supply back in to the case.

• Close up the printer.
• Put the display in to the case and secure with 4 M3 12mm screws.
• Attach the hinge to the back of the case with 4 M3 10mm screws.
• Connect the two halves of the hinge together with the screw and nut that has been printed.
Step 4: Install Marlin
• You will need to build a marlin version yourself
• I suggest you download the distro from Foxies then use my config files as a basis
• If you want to create your own then download a bugfix of marlin, use the delta/flsun/QQ-s
Pro config files and then amend with the details from here: Home · makerbase-mks/MKS-
Robin-Nano-V3.X Wiki · GitHub

• I suggest you use the Marlin Colour UI not TFT_LVGL_UI as autolevel does not work in LVGL
along with advanced pause.
