Answer the following questions:

1. Do you think there are already too many Filipino? Explain your answer.
 For me Yes, because we know that we are just living in a small country and our
population is still growing, also we are just a third-world country, and many people
in our country are living in poverty, many children are malnourish they can’t have
enough food. This is the problem of overpopulation; the government can’t control
this population growth it kept growing and growing. If our government create a law
about 1 to 2 children in one household it will decrease the population growth.

2. Describe some observable effects of overpopulation in our country.

 It affects the food supply of our country also many people will be jobless because of
overpopulation. It will also affect the environment and cleanliness of our country.
That’s the cause of overpopulation many people will experience poverty. The cost of
living it will be going higher and the inflation rate also will increase.

3. explain the difference in the interest of American and European ecologists during the mid-
1900s

 The composition, organization, and dispersion of plant communities were of interest

to European botanists. However, The evolution of plant communities, or succession
(see community ecology, ecological succession), was researched by American
botanists.
