WALK-IN-INTERVIEW

Walk-in-Interview will be held on 03-05-2013 for Medical Professional candidates in

General/Reserved category for regular appointment on the posts of Professor, Associate
Professor and Assistant Professor in various subjects for GMERS Medical College, Valsad.
Walk in interviews will be held on 03/05/2013 from 10.00 a.m. to 12.0 p.m. at the Office of
the Dean, GMERS Medical College, Valsad. Duly filled in application form is to be submitted
along with necessary copies of documents on the day of Walk-in-Interview.
Eligible interested candidates are advised to check vacancies on our Website before
appearing in Walk-in-interview.
Qualifications and Experience as per Government Rules & MCI Regulations.
No TA/DA will be admissible for attending interview.
The Chairman, Gujarat Medical Education and Research Society, Gandhinagar reserves
the rights to accept/reject any application without assigning any reason.

The selection will remain valid for one year or next interview, whichever is earlier, for
the posts at GMERS Medical College, Valsad only and selected candidate will be allowed to join
subject to approval by the Chairman.
Pay and allowances will be as per existing rules of the Government of Gujarat &
GMERS.
Applicants upto the age of 65 years will be eligible. Candidate will be appointed on
regular scale as per Government of Gujarat rules and contractual basis with fixed salary as
shown below.

ESSENTIAL QUALIFICATIONS:-
Qualifications and teaching experience should be as per Government recruitment rules &
Regulation of Medical Council of India as amended from time to time.

* Candidates who have retired from Govt. and are receiving pension will be appointed on
contractual basis with consolidated emoluments with or without private practice however,
candidates available for regular appointment will be preferred.
The knowledge of computer literacy is desirable.
The candidate selected and appointed will not be considered for change of posting place.
Those candidates in service have to submit NOC / Relieving order from their employer.
