people-oriented leadership skills. Place importance on building
positive relationships within my team.
● Emphasize open communication, active listening, and empathy to
strengthen human relations.
Mitigate Autocratic Tendencies:
● Acknowledge my potential for task-oriented leadership and
autocratic behavior. Make a conscious effort to balance it with a
more participative and laissez-faire approach when appropriate.
● Encourage team members to contribute ideas and opinions,
fostering a collaborative environment.
Develop Integrity, Loyalty, and Openness:

building trust. Work on transparent communication and
consistency in my actions.

environment where everyone feels valued and supported.

leadership. If needed, work on becoming more open to disclosure
and sharing my emotions appropriately.
● Recognize and address any challenges related to being trusted
for competence, consistency, and integrity.
Task or People Orientation:
● Reflect on whether I lean more towards a task-oriented or people-
oriented leadership style. Tailor my approach based on the
specific needs of the situation.
● Balance my conscientiousness with an understanding of when to
prioritize tasks and when to focus on building relationships.
Continuous Improvement:
● Regularly assess my leadership style and its impact on trust
within the team. Seek feedback from team members and be open
to making adjustments based on their input.
Professional Development:
● Consider investing time in leadership development programs,
workshops, or coaching to further enhance my leadership skills
and build trust.

Remember, developing effective leadership and trust is an ongoing process.

Continuously reflect on my actions, seek feedback, and adapt my approach to
meet the evolving needs of my team and organization.
