Sport and Co-curricularActivities Options Term 2 2024
In 2024, students will select sport or Co-curricular activities to participate in for 5 weeks. This
will allow students the opportunity to choose 2 sports each term and give all students a variety
of different options to choose from. Some sports will rotate as options for different year groups
throughout the year, while others will remain an option to all year groups each term. This will be
made clear on selection form each time students choose their activities.

A new sporting option in 2024 - students will
go to a brand new golf driving range and putt
putt facility at Norwest.Students will have their
time split between the driving range and putt
putt area each week.
Tennis Years 7 to 10 25
Students will be instructed in tennis by
qualified coach and participate in games of
tennis at Bernie Mullane

Co-Curricular Activities
Musical (Shrek) Students who had been selected for Musical in 2023. 7-10 100
DPA Year 7 students in 2024 can also join. Information will be Terms 1-4
discussed with Year 7 students in week 1. Co-Ed
Musical sets creation Students interested in Arts and Drama, or just students 7-10 50
ART ROOMS who want to help create sets for Shrek the Musical will Terms 1-4
help the CAPA staff with painting, building, drawing. Co-Ed
Crochet Club Students learn the basics of Crochet (how to hold yarn 7-10 25
C17 and hook, etc), and then move onto making a humble Terms 1-4
'granny square', with the aim of making a combined Co-Ed
blanket that we could donate to the Vinnies Winter
Appeal, etc. Making blankets, explore making bags and
items of clothing from granny squares etc
Maker Space "Step into the realm of endless possibilities with the 7-10 25
Program Maker Space Program! As part of our vibrant community, Terms 1 - 4
CLS5 unleash your creativity and technical skills using Co-Ed
cutting-edge tools such as laser cutters, 3D printers,
CNC mills, and more. This program invites students to
embark on a journey where innovation meets hands-on
making. Design and produce customized sports gear for
school teams or dive into passion projects tailored for
personal hobbies. Join the Maker Space Program and
immerse yourself in a world where imagination thrives
and inventive ideas take shape!"
Ignite and STEM We want you to unleash your curiosity! Build on, and 25
MAD expand your passions by igniting your Thursday
B6 afternoons. All are welcome!
Ignite
Engage in fun and hands-on Science experiments,
explore cutting-edge technologies. build games with the
power of AI. Find solutions to real world challenges like
plastics and water pollution. The possibilities and choices
are endless…lego robots, science experiments, 3D
printing, coding, problem solving, are just some of the
ideas we have. Develop your own research question or
explore your own personal interest.
STEM MAD
Ideate and create your own design for a real world
challenge. Enter the CSPD Showcase with an
opportunity to travel interstate and reach the national
competition. Last year, our team went to the national
level in Melbourne and won a major prize.
