Answers
I) What is function of :1- Cell wall :- It supports the plant and gives it a definite shape . 2- Cell membrane :- It is the membrane that surrounds the cytoplasm and it controls the substance that center or leave the cell . 3- Cytoplasm :- All the biological operations of the cell occur in it . 4- Nucleus :- It organizes the biological operations in the cell and it is responsible for the cell division . 5- Green plastides :- They responsible for making food by the photosynthesis process .

II) Give reasons for .

1- Yeast fungus is used in making beard . Because, it produces carbon dioxide gas that caues the swelling of bread and make it porous .

III) What is meant by :1- The cell :- It is the smallest building unit of living organisms body . Or - It is the unit of structure and function in the living organisms .

2- photosyn thesis:- A biological process takes place in the green parts (leaves )of the plant to make its own food in the existence of sunlight , water, carbon dioxide gas and some mineral salts . 3- producers :They are living organisms that can make their own food by the photosynthesis process. 4- Consumers :They are living organisms that depend on producers directly or indirectly to get their food . 5- Decomposers :They are living organisms that cant make their food by them selves due to the absence of chloroplasts in their cells , but they get their food through the decomposing of the organic as dead bodies ,plant remains and decay food .

II) Give reasons for .

1- The potted plant inside houses should be directed to sunlight . - Because, sunlight is necessary for the plant to make its food by photosynthesis process. 2- We immerse the Elodea plant in water containing sodium bicarbonate . - Because, sodium bicarbonate provides the plant with carbon dioxide gas which is required for the photosynthesis process. 3- Human is considered as a consumer . - Because, he feeds on producers or consumers that previously feed on producers .

I) What is meant by :1- food chain :- It is a path of energy that transmits in a from of food from a living organism to another one . 2- Food web :- They are the paths that show the energy transference in the from of food from a living organism to another in the food webs and chains . 3- Energy paths :- They are the paths that show the energy transference in the form of food form a living organism to another in the food webs and food chains .

II) Give reasons for:1- Rabbit is considered as a herbivorous consumer . - Because, it depends on plants on feeding . 2- Green plants , chicken and fox can make a food chain . - Because ,they form together all the factors of food chain , where green plant is a producer , chicken is a herbivorous consumer .

.III)What is the importance of solar energy for

1- Producers : make their own food by using the solar energy that is stored in food in the from of chemical energy . 2- consumers :feed on producers , the stored energy in their food transfers to consumers .

I) What is meant by :1- force :- It is the effect that changes the state of the object. 2- Motion :- It is the change in the place of object in relation to time . 3- Speed of an object :- It is the distance that is travelled by an object in one second and in a certain direction .

II) Give reasons for:1- The kite flies in the sky - Due to the effect of air pushing force . 2- The bicycle move by using pedals and stops by using brakes . - Because, leg pushing force pushes the pedals of the bicycle and changes its state from rest to motion , but brakes stopping force changes the state of the bicycle from motion to rest . 3- When the pushing force of a car motor increases , the speed of the car increases . - Because, the speed of anybody depends on the force that affects it . 4- The stability of moon in its orbit around earth . - Due to the gravity force between moon and earth .

I) What is meant by :1- Energy :- It is the ability to do work . 2- Sound :- It is a from of energy that reaches ear causing hearing .

II) What is meant by :1- sun :- It is the main source of energy on earth . 2- Renewable resources of energy . - They are the sources of energy that renew them selves . 3- Non renewable resources of energy . - They are the sources of energy that dont renew themselves and they may be exhausted by the continus use .

II) Give reasons for:1-The government gives more attention to the use of natural gas instead of gasoline - Because, it causes less pollution for the environment . ,so the government exerts a great effort to increase its production .

I)What is meant by :1- Static electricity :- It is the type of electricity that is produced due to accumulation of the electric charges on a body . 2- Current electricity :- It is the electric charges that flow through connecting wires for long distances forming the electric current . 3- The electric Current :- It is the flow of the electric charges through a conductor (wire) . 4- The electric circuit :- It is the closed path of the electric Current .
