Introduction
From teaching students to mentoring other educators I am extremely
passionate about all areas of education. My greatest strengths as an
educator are developing effective classroom procedures and classroom
management. I also have successful experience organizing school-wide
programs, designing and developing curriculum, motivating students to
learn resulting in high assessment scores, budgeting and fundraising.
Building relationships with parents and the community is a tool I use to
help promote student success. I am dedicated to any position I am
privileged to work in and follow the motto, ‘Students First’.

Dixieland is where I began my teaching career and was able to return after
living abroad for two years. My time at Dixieland has developed me as a
teacher and leader working under phenomenal examples. In addition to

Committee Member and pushed in for Reading Intervention in 2 Grade.

I had the privilege to be hired at Churchwell upon returning from living
overseas for two years. Churchwell had successfully raised their school
grade from a ‘D’ school to an ‘A’ school. My goal was to help create an
environment of learning that would continue this success school-wide. In
addition to teaching Music, I was the PBiS Coordinator and SAC
Committee Member.
Garrett County Schools- Grantsville, MD
October 2021-Present
I am currently employed by Garrett County Schools where I split my time
as the Music Teacher between Grantsville Elementary and Route 40
Elementary. I was selected to represent both schools on the Route 40
Closure Committee during the 2022-23 school year which resulted in
Route 40 remaining open.

When hired I implemented several new programs and classes to the
school in addition to their Choral Program; Class Piano, Musical Theater,
Set Design and Music Exploration.

sufficient funds in the budget.
