Prison is the perfect environment to breed anger. There are

more frustrations than solutions. And when our anger flares
up, we often act in ways that are irrational and destructive.
And in our anger, we can get ourselves in even more trouble
behind bars.

But we can manage our anger. If thinking can get us into
trouble, changing our way of thinking can help us get
out of it.

Consider these seven ways changing the way we think

can save us from our anger:

Wait before you act

Look at all the evidence

Consider other explanations

Start thinking in terms of desires rather than demands

Focus on problem solving

Put your worth in something greater than people's respect

Be willing to forgive
