Re: Introduction Letter: Monica Gujado

Dear brothers,

We are writing to introduce you to sister Monica Gujado. She has three children:
Joshua, Caleb, and Frankie. However, of the three children, only Caleb is a
baptized witness. Monica was previously married to Frank Cortez, who divorced
her after she committed adultery. Then on July 19, 2016, Frank Cortez wrote a
letter to the brothers stating he no longer wanted to be identified as one of
Jehovah's Witnesses. Also, in 2016 Monica stopped attending the meetings and
became inactive. Monica remained inactive until she recently returned to
Rosewood, stating she wanted to return to Jehovah, but she was going to move to
the Spanish. Before moving to the Spanish, we had a couple of brothers meet
with her to see how she was doing and to check on her circumstances. Monica
told the brothers that she was still single and had been living with her boyfriend
for several years and having pre-marital relations with him. However, she did
inform the brothers that they were planning on getting married soon. The
brothers brought this information to the body, and a decision was made to hold a
judicial hearing. Before the judicial hearing, Monica and her longtime boyfriend
married. Monica's judicial hearing was held on October 10, 2022, after which it
was determined that she should be publicly reproved. The announcement of the
reproof was made on October 18, 2022.

We hope Monica will continue to progress and mend her relationship with
Jehovah. To help Monica spiritually, the judicial committee recommended that
she study the "Remain in God's Love" book.

We commend you, brothers, for your sacrifices and the diligent work you do for
our grand loving God, Jehovah.
