CHAPTER 3

METHODOLOGY

This part of the chapter that shows the things that are essential for the process of the
conducting of this study

Research design

This study focuses on the factors of the students’ academic performance and their factors
that led them to have high grades and performance or the main reason for their low
performance to understand how those factors affects the students and how mild or significant
it affects their academics.

Locale of the study

The study was conducted in Kidapawan City National Highschool.

Respondents of the study


The respondents of this study are the Grade 12 students who are influenced both positively
and negative in different strands of Kidapawan City National Highschool

Sampling procedures

The simple random sampling procedure is used in this research and will interview at least
50 students that is related to this study both students that are affected by those positive and
negative factors in the process during the time of the research.

Research instruments

This questionnaire is being used in a digital platform in executing this survey using (statistic
solution.com) in solving the number of respondents who are affected by peer pressure both
positively and negatively. The survey is conducted on Google form for the respondents to
answer. This questionnaire will identify the numbers who are influenced positively and
negatively.

Data gathering procedure

The data gathered by conducting of this research is being provided by important questions
that related to this study and would be correlated at (statisticsolution.com) and survey is
provided on (google form) that is to be answered to the respondents. Due to this research it
will need to acquire the school administration in-order for the research to be conducted
without any delay or problem.
