1. What do you think is the role of science and technology in our society today?

One of the most essential characteristics of science and technology is that it provides solutions
to the most difficult of issues, problems that have the potential to become major blockages in the
country's overall progress. Science and technology have unquestionably improved and accelerated
our lives. Almost everything we see is a result of science and technology, including cellphones,
fans, electricity, microwaves, radios, televisions, computers, wheels, automobiles, fabric, paper,
toothbrushes, and so on. Science and technology are required in every aspect of our lives.

2. Why must STS be offered in an interdisciplinary approach?

Technology is a branch of science that makes it easier to use science in a clever way to achieve
a variety of goals, and so science and technology go hand in hand if we want to put it that way.
Interdisciplinary science is the collaborative process of combining the knowledge/expertise of
trained professionals from two or more disciplines, using different views, techniques, and research
methods/methodologies, to give development beyond the boundaries of one discipline's capacity.
