4. Should children be allowed to watch a lot of TV?

Well absolutely no, as many wise ones have said: “Too much of a good things is
bad”. Despite offering many educational benefits, TV is also one of the main
reasons that cause various young age problems. Firstly, it will do no good for a
child’s eye sight if he/ she just stick his/her eyes to the screen. Even with or
without essential light source, their eyes would eventually deteriorate if they spent
way too much time for TV. Secondly, youngsters may act differently from what
normal ones do since TV is addictive, which will badly affects kids’ development
and thus cause autism for example. But it would turn out to be fruitful if parents
could effectively control the watching duration on their children

5. What do you think are the qualities of a good children’s TV

programme ?
In my opinion a child-friendly TV show should contain these criteria. Firstly, it
should be in the form of animation or some kind of human acting that is both funny
and colorful at the same time and absolutely no violent-related content, which I
think is the most significant point considering what kids watch on Youtube these
years. Secondly, it should also include educational content, it’s 2022 and no
parents would allow their child to watch useless show and no kids would really
focus on boring books as they are forced to, so the best option is to combine
watching TV and studying together. The shows should teach valuable lessons
about behavior, about how to differentiate between right and wrong or even lessons
in the curriculum in a way kids will be interested in.
