IntroductionIn

this essay we will learn about the conflict of interest that can be evidenced in the
development of virtual studies in SENA, as well as a brief contextualization of
virtual education. It will be analyzed how the apprentices in the development of
their activities must rely on their peers to carry them out, this is where the GAES
groups arise, but so do the conflicts. In order to understand this dynamic, some
problems that arise in group work will be addressed, and possible solutions to
conflicts of interest that may arise during this learning stage among these trainees.

Development:

Virtual study: Conflicts of interest GAES groups.

According to (Perez, 2018) says that the types of learning environments are
online formative models that share a series of common, didactic and technological
elements that provide the student with a system or virtual teaching environment
active learning that allows flexibility of schedules and requires self-discipline and
self-control. This model is based on establishing the activities around the student,
mentioning that other authors such as Andriessen (2003) and (Salinas, 2004)
consider that the tasks have to be very well designed to make sense. It should be
understood that a virtual learning environment is that space or community
organized with the purpose of achieving learning and that for this to take place it
requires certain technological components.

Training models speak of virtual education that may or may not use technology, but
the most important thing is to guarantee independent study without the need for
continuous intervention by the teacher; in the case of e-learning, the non-
presential nature of the model is shared, but the emphasis is on the use of the
Internet as a system for accessing training content and activities.

Online education has gone through several generations where "There is a clear
parallelism between the evolution of ICT and the development of online training
models. It is from these learning spaces where the guidelines have been established
to carry out the different types of activities among students, giving rise to SENA's
autonomous study groups (GAES) and immersed in them a whole series of conflicts
of interest at the moment of interaction among students.

Conflicts of interest are present in numerous decisions in the life of professionals,

managers and employees, as well as companies and organizations, public or
private, that is where good judgment when making certain decisions should be
oriented to the general interest prevailing, before the particular

In GAES autonomous study groups there are some situations where conflicts of
interest may arise, such as the following.

:•Personal interests that reproduce academic objectivity, such as preference for

certain peers or topics.
•Undue influence in decision-making, such as pressuring external or internal groups
to make decisions that favor their interests.
•Lack of transparency in decision-making, such as failure to disclose relevant
information or lack of clarity in decision-making processes.

Solutions to conflicts of interest in GAES

•Effective communication: It is important that there is more effective and open

communication among GAES group colleagues. This can help prevent
misunderstandings and unnecessary conflicts.
•Mutual respect: Trainees should respect the opinions and perspectives of their
GAES colleagues, even if they disagree with them. This can help prevent conflict
and foster a collaborative environment.
•Focus on the common goal: Trainees should focus on the common goal of the
GAES group and work together to achieve it. This can help prevent conflicts arising
from personal interests or hidden agendas

Conclusions

Virtual education has arrived to facilitate the learning processes of many students, since it
gives us total autonomy when developing activities, in addition to the interaction with
classmates and teachers in the classroom, which is fundamental to achieve the objectives.

On the other hand, it is important to address conflicts of interest that may be generated by
such interactions and thus guarantee academic integrity and educational quality in SENA's
virtual study, all of which can be evidenced by implementing clear policies, transparency in
decision making, training in academic ethics and other strategies to prevent and manage
conflicts of interest in SENA's virtual environment and ensure that students feel
comfortable and at ease in this study modality.
