The researchers were able to follow their initial plan when they gathered their
participants for their study. As mentioned in Chapter 5, the researchers aimed to get ten (10)
students from each grade starting from grade ten (10) to twelve (12). The researchers would
then separate the ten (10) students into two (2) subgroups per grade, separating them by their
sex. In total, each grade level included in their study should have five (5) girls and five (5)
boys as participants. Furthermore, the researchers also included an additional three (3) to four
The following is the sequence to which the researchers obtained their participants for
the study: The researchers obtained a list of the students' names from grades ten (10) to
twelve (12) by requesting the list from each grade's advisory teacher with a formal letter. The
letter indicated the purpose of the request and a simple overview of the objective and
beneficiaries of the study. Moreover, the researchers emphasized to the advisers that the
names of their students will be kept confidential and that their student’s data will be
processed and observed in an ethical manner. After receiving the lists, the researchers were
able to procure a list of potential participants to join the research with the fishbowl method by
using an online roulette wheel. Then, the researchers sent an invite to the randomly selected
potential participants through Facebook Messenger. In addition, the researchers also decided
to create group chats in Facebook Messenger that would allow the potential participants to
ask questions about the study. The group chats were also used to reinstate if the chosen
students are willing to participate in the study. Once the participant agrees to join the study,
the researcher then sends the participant primer, including the participant's consent form.
However, when a participant declined the invite, the researchers reached out to the set of

potential backup participants. After every consent form is collected, the researchers told the
