This past year was one of great accomplishment. From diplomacy abroad to

Molossia’s Time Capsule 29 February 2024 XLVII

Starting 12 years ago, every four years the Government of the Republic of Molossia has buried a Time Capsule in Red Square. The
Molossian Time Capsule is our emissary to the future, a messenger from then to now. Last deposited in front of the President's Of-
fice on Leap Day, 29 February 2020 XLIII, it was dug up today, Leap Day, 29 February 2024 XLVII, four years later. Before a crowd
of Molossians, the capsule from the past was opened, and inside were found photographs, letters to the future from Molossian citi-
zens, a National Enquirer magazine and miscellaneous knick-knacks from the Molossian Family. After examining the mementos from
four years past, the Time Capsule was filled with a new round of notes and keepsakes and returned to the soil from which it so re-
cently emerged. For the next four years our Time Capsule will again sit undisturbed beneath Red Square, only to be opened with great
fanfare by the future us. Who knows what that future will bring and how we will look back upon the present when the capsule is
opened. Here's to the future of Molossia and the celebration of our present!

and devote all our energy to the cause of peace, mutual acceptance, and solidarity toward better lives for all Molossians.
Molossia's exceptionality is our shield against the problems that beset so many of other nations. We cannot predict the future, but we
can prepare for it. We may not foresee it, but we must build it. The year ahead, like all, heralds many challenges but also holds rich
promise. And so, we enter this New Year in high spirits and with great confidence. While we are of course bound to encounter head-
winds, by reaching out to each other in adversity we will meet challenges head-on and overcome all difficulties.

In this coming year, then, I speak to all Molossians and wish to you all the best. I pledge to continue to lead you as best I can, to be your
mentor and your partner. I am not the nation, we all are. And together we shall continue to build toward a great future for all Molos-
sians.

Return to the Odeon Hall 24 February 2024 XLVII

On Saturday, 24 February 2024 XLVII The President and First Lady returned to the historic Ode-
on Hall, in Dayton, Nevada. The First Couple spoke at the Odeon Hall in July 2023 XLVI, and
were brought back by popular demand to speak again. The purpose was to talk all about our great
nation, spreading the word about Molossia to yet another audience. The Odeon Hall is a historic
saloon and dance hall that was built in 1863, and has hosted such celebrities as Mark Twain and
Adolph Sutro among its patrons and speakers. Recently remodeled and reopened, the Odeon hosts
talks and presentations, among them our President. For over an hour His Excellency and the First
Lady spoke about Molossia before a crowd of rapt listeners, showing pictures of our nation and The President Talking
answering questions. The audience was very appreciative and applauded frequently, enjoying the
idea of a self-declared nation right down the road. In addition, Molossia's signature drink, the
Molossolini was added last year to the Odeon Saloon menu, and has since proven to be quite popu-
lar. Subsequent to the Odeon talk the First Couple rode on the railroad speeder across the street
from the Hall, proclaimed in 2018 XLI to be the official speeder of the Republic of Molossia. It
was wonderful to be able to share the stories, culture and mere existence of Molossia, and we look
forward to future opportunities to do so.

Around Molossia...
Inspired as always by former President Trump’s Happy Lunar New Year, the symbolic
inspiring inspirationalisms, specifically the call beginning of Molossia’s year!
to install an alligator-filled moat along the
southern edge of the US to repel migrants, we
here in Molossia have created our own border
security installation, the dreaded Croc Pond.
This of course includes a nod to our friends in
Slowjamastan, and their aversion to Crocs. We
are certain this new contrivance will henceforth
effectively repel unwanted visitors to our na-
tion!

The Last Word With The First Lady

Hello all March is here! Soon we can say that spring has arrived, but today Molossia is blanketed
in white as a large storm pushed us back into winter. You know how that American weather
blows right over our borders!

For now, we can sit and plan all the fun things that we aim to do this spring. What road trips will
we take, which flowers will we plant? Our newest canine citizen Woola has just completed all of
her shots and is finally ready to be out in the world with other dogs. We cannot wait to take her
on some walks both inside of Molossia and across the border in the US. Much like us, she loved
to explore! Some of our springtime plans include exploring the newly formed lake in Death Val-
ley, and the biggest event so far this year will be a big family quest to Florida. Our son Bryce will
marry his long time partner Jazzy and she will become a Molossian citizen! Hooray!

Whether it’s big events or small side quests around your home, springtime is a time for new beginnings. If you can’t get out of the house
today, what can you do inside? Maybe some spring cleaning? We all have that little pile that’s been looking at us.. Let’s start fresh this
spring and see what fun comes our way!
