Due to their interconnectedness, I chose these four Nursing theories. According to Mercer's theory of Maternal Attainment Role, it is gained via pregnancy then embracing the identity as a mother,
and then the experience of postpartum depression by Beck’s Theory. It can also be related to the Human Becoming theory by Parse, once a mother who loses a child might likewise suffer empty
arms. Lastly, we can apply Kolcaba's Theory of Comfort in any of these situations.

Ramona T. Mercer's Maternal Role Attainment theory emphasizes identity accomplishment, postpartum adjustment, and pregnancy phases. Nurses provide specialized care to foster role
accomplishment, patient education, and mother-child bonding. Cheryl Tatano Beck's Postpartum Depression Theory focuses on how postpartum depression affects women's mental health and family
interactions. Rosemarie Rizzo Parse's Human Becoming Theory questions conventional biomedical methods by examining subjective experiences and decisions in determining health. Katharine
Kolcaba's Theory of Comfort focuses on comfort as a holistic concept and its influence on health-seeking.

However, Mercer's theory may overlook institutional disparities and individual differences in maternal experiences. Beck's theory's qualitative research may need more applicability. Parse's patient-
centered approach may need help in conventional healthcare settings. Kolcaba's theory promotes holistic care but may require additional resources and training.

In conclusion, these nursing theories provide valuable insights and practical methods for enhancing the health and happiness of mothers. Nurses can improve their ability to provide comprehensive
and compassionate care during parenthood by understanding their implications for practice, strengths, and limitations.
