Data Analyst Job Description

Who we are looking for:

We are looking for an experienced Data Analyst who is passionate about building data products
that our customers and internal users love. The right candidate will be excited to look for
actionable insights in the data and visualize them with impact. This role will report into the
Senior Vice President of Technology and will be key contributor to the growth of the
organization.

Job Duties:

• Data gathering / pipeline:


• Acquire data from the analytics pipeline and if missing help us extend the
coverage
• Data modeling:
• Develop, implement, and maintain data mining, data cleansing, and other
strategies that optimize statistical efficiency and quality.
• Provide ongoing updates via reports or dashboards.
• Make data driven recommendations to improve.
• Data presenting:
• Communicate findings through creating compelling visualizations, dashboards,
and reports
• Present data insights to internal and external stakeholders.
• Data validation:
• Ensure the quality and accuracy of reported data through repeatable testing,
automated preferred
• Take ownership of data correctness over system lifecycle
• Data Interpretation:
• Identify, analyze, and interpret trends or patterns in complex data sets and
• Understand the connection between success metrics and business results

Role Requirements:

• Strong skills in relational databases and SQL


• Deep knowledge with some BI platform (we use PowerBI)
• Data engineering know-how on data warehousing, data lakes
• Data analysis curiosity and excellent data analytics skills
• Grasp of software engineering principles and of how to apply them to data analytics
• Experience with AI/ML considered a plus
