“She is One of the Stars, away from the Moon”

Last night, Rose went outside to see the moon and the stars. But there are only clouds, no moon nor stars.
The rain came into existence and the cold wind blew around her. She was facing back and forth, trying to
fix her thoughts. The anxiety of fear, the sadness of life, and the possibility of failure crept into her mind.

Another day has passed. The night came and Rose only wanted the moon to comfort her. She wanted to
see and touch the moon, but she’s too far away to reach this goal. She then thought "maybe next time,
maybe in the next life line".

Her vivid thoughts brought her extreme pain; the thoughts that she had almost forgotten, he whom she
always wanted. She was always one of the stars trying to be close to the moon. But then she realized that
there was no chance to move at all. She knew she was last in the line. She knew she was never an option
nor a choice to be part.

Being a star was never easy, because stars don’t always shine, they don’t shimmer all the time.

Later that night she made herself clear, rose went in front of the mirror and said, "Stop loving the moon so
much".

The pain of loving the moon is unbearable, and even though Rose wanted to stop, she prickly said, “I only
have the moon, I have nowhere else to go, maybe I still can”.

“I’ll just keep my distance and love the moon like I always do.”

Right then and there, Rose knew that she was always one of the stars, but away from the moon.

_____________________________________________________________________________________
Rose has always been in love with the moon. She was always there watching the moon, while I stay up in
the corner of the room watching her shed the tears I vaguely understand.

I was always there, but I never knew. I didn’t know that she was giving me hints about her life.

If only I knew.
If only....

She told me how much she loved the moon, but I was quiet the whole time.

I’ll never forget that day.........

That day where I looked up in the sky and said “My star, is now with the moon.”
