NARRATIVE REPORT ON SPG ELECTION SY 2023-2024

Buga Elementary School , The Supreme Pupil Government election for the school year 2023-2024 was
successfully conducted last June 9, 2023 Tuesday. The said election wouldn’t possible without the preparation
of all the Learner Government Commision on Elections and Appointment (LG COMEA) headed by Chief
Commissioner Mr. Michael B. Seva and other Commissioners and Members together with the support of the
committed SPG adviser Mrs. Galelie C. Dacara, from planning and preparing paraphernalias, to the process of
implementation for the successful election.

SPG Election follows the Interim guidelines of the LG COMEA for SY 2023-2024 given by the
Department of Education for the qualifications of the candidates to meet before they qualify to run. Youth
COMEA Commissioner on Screenning and Validation Mrs. Loreen R. Rebati announced and posted the names
of pupils who passed the screening and have the final list of candidates for the election.

The campaign period lasted for two consecutive days wherein the candidates introduced their selves and
explained the platforms they have that will help the school. They conducted a room to room campaign in which
the candidates have the final chance to approach the Grade Two to Grade Five pupils to have their trust and to
be elected in the position they are running for.

As the election finished. The SPG advisers and Mrs. Galelie C. Dacara, LG COMEA Commissioner on
Electoral Board Mrs. Josephine S. Seva announced the new set of officers for the school year 2023-2024 and
they were asked to go in front to give their word of gratitude. The new set of officers stayed in the BES covered
court and took pictures together with their adviser as well as the LG COMEA Commissioners.
