Many things are found in the surroundings. They are classified as living or
non-living things. Living things such as plant and animals are present almost
everywhere. Many Non-Living things such as stones, water and air are also
present everywhere.
Living things meet their needs from living and nonliving things in ecosystem.
Animals, plants and also people live and depend on each other. Living things need
nonliving things in order to survive such as people and animals need plants for
food, shelter, medicine, and others. Sunlight, and soil are also important for living
things.
There are other living things in our environment, these are the animals and
plants. Animals have similarities and differences. They have different uses for us,
they have basic needs. We should care for them.
We also use some plants parts such as leaves for food and medicine. Insects
and other organisms also benefit from plants and trees. Plants become the habitat
for these organisms and also provide them food.
Plants and trees are useful to people because they provide raw materials for
building houses, making clothing, and many others.
