OBJECTIVE OF THE PROJECT
The wall sconce is created as a part of the course outcome in Machine Shop
Theory. This project shall specifically utilize the different processes involved and
learned in the machine shop including drilling, welding, riveting, and especially
threading and hand tapping. Moreover, the project is an industrial wall-mounted sconce
that can be used as furniture and a decorative source of light in the home. As much as
possible, the materials to be used in making this project are scraps that can be found
especially at school employing the essence of recycling.

Objectives:
In order to improve productivity, accuracy, and variety in metal production operations, design
and build a multipurpose metalworking tool that seamlessly blends the characteristics of a
versatile hammer and a precision metal bender. The idea is to develop a simple-to-use tool that
simplifies metal shaping jobs. It will provide a portable, all-in-one solution for bending and
hammering activities, enabling users to accomplish complex metalwork with accuracy and
convenience.
