I. LEVEL STANDARDS FOR K to 12 GRADE 9 Physical Education:

 Learners will demonstrates understanding of lifestyle and weight management to promote societal fitness.
 Learners will demonstrates understanding of lifestyle and weight management to promote societal fitness.
 Learners will maintains an active lifestyle to influence the physical activity participation of the community and society..
 Learners will practices healthy eating habits that support an active lifestyle.

II. GENERAL OBJECTIVES:


At the end of the school year, the students must be able to demonstrate understanding of:

 Assesses physical activity, exercise and eating habits.


 Determines risk factors related to lifestyle diseases.
 Engages in moderate to vigorous physical activities for at least 60 minutes a day in and out of school.
 Applies correct techniques to minimize risk of injuries.
 Analyzes the effects of media and technology on fitness and physical activity.
 Critiques media information on fitness and physical activity issues.
 Expresses a sense of purpose belongingness by participating in physical activity-related community services and programs.
 Explores the various health career paths selects a particular health career pathway based on personal.
