RAW Milk
Raw milk supplied by local milkmen is unprocessed and unpasteurized, posing severe health risks when
consumed. According to the Centers for Disease Control and Prevention (CDC) research, raw milk caused
127 outbreaks and 1,909 illnesses. It carries harmful bacteria like Salmonella, E. coli, Listeria,
Campylobacter, and others, resulting in food poisoning. It also could have Hydrogen Peroxide to increase the
shelf life in the absence of chilling systems.

Regular packet Milk

Regular Packet milk contains both A1 and A2 beta-casein. It is the most abundantly available and the most
commonly consumed milk today. It doesn’t undergo rigorous testing for contaminants, antibiotic &
hormone residues, and adulterants. Some even mix Cow Milk and Buffalo Milk and sell it as pure
packaged milk.

A2 Milk
A1 and A2 are 2 variants of casein, one of the significant kinds of protein in milk. The only significant
difference between these two is that one of the 67 amino acids is different. There is a lot of hype
surrounding the A2 Milk, thanks to the marketing campaigns full of claims regarding its health benefits.
But the evidence to support those claims is still too weak to draw any solid conclusions. According to some
claims, the BCM-7 peptide produced by A1 milk causes diabetes, heart diseases, autism, and
schizophrenia.
When researchers found no truth in those claims and termed the campaigns speculative and unsubstantial,
they changed their marketing proposition to easy digestion of A2 milk. It turned out that A2 milk has the
same amount of lactose as conventional milk.
