Difference B/w Raw Milk and Packed Milk

Raw milk and packed milk have several differences:

Processing: Raw milk is milk that has not been pasteurized or homogenized, while packed
milk, also known as pasteurized milk, has been heated to kill harmful bacteria and then
packaged for sale.
Safety: Raw milk carries a higher risk of containing harmful bacteria such as E. coli,
salmonella, and Listeria, which can cause foodborne illnesses. Pasteurized milk is
considered safer to consume because the pasteurization process kills these harmful
bacteria.
Shelf Life: Raw milk has a shorter shelf life compared to pasteurized milk. Pasteurized milk
can last longer due to the removal of bacteria that cause spoilage.
Availability: Raw milk is often sold directly from farms or through specialized channels due
to regulations regarding its sale. Pasteurized milk is widely available in grocery stores and is
the most common type of milk consumed.
Nutritional Content: Some argue that raw milk contains more nutrients and beneficial
bacteria due to the lack of processing, while others believe that pasteurization does not
significantly affect the nutritional value of milk.
It's important to note that consuming raw milk carries potential health risks, and it's essential
to be informed about the regulations and safety guidelines in your area before consuming
it.
