1. How do you achieve a balance between what your company wants as against your
commitment to contribute to climate change?
Ans: As a CEO of a wood processing company, I would strive to achieve a balance between
meeting the company’s needs and fulfilling commitments to combat climate change by taking the
following steps: invest in Renewable Energy, Implementing Energy Efficiency Measures, Carbon
Offset Programs, Transition Plan, Engage Stakeholders, and Continuous Improvement. By taking
these proactive steps, we can effectively balance the company’s objectives with our commitments
to combat climate change, ultimately positioning our wood processing company as a responsible
and sustainable leader in the industry.

2. Which factor is the most critical? What course of action will you choose

Ans: The most critical factor in this scenario is the long-term impact on the environment and
climate change. As the CEO of a wood processing company, I would prioritize sustainability and
environmental responsibility above short-term gains. Overall, the most critical factor is taking
proactive steps to minimize our environmental footprint and contribute positively to climate
change mitigation efforts. This approach not only aligns with our company’s values but also
ensures long-term sustainability and competitiveness in the market.
