ANSWER

A. The number of GDP can always tell whether a country is prosperous or not.
Do you agree or disagree to the statement?

I have to disagree with the statement. Well yes sure that GDP indicate how much
wealth is being generated in a country but what say of its distribution of wealth? Is it
distributed equally among the people or is it only for certain groups?
Prosperity has many variables within it and wealth can't be the only determining
factor of it. Not to say that determining based on wealth can have varying problems such
as is it only for a small portion of the country where everyone else is left out and is not
prosperous? Another problem with wealth being not distributed equally includes the
crime rates. Employment levels, education, literacy is also another ones of the many
factors exist in a country being prosperous. Only looking at one of the factors can't really
say much about the country.
With this, while wealth can say that a country is rich but it can't say that it is
prosperous. It can have many problems in it that can't be told using GDP alone.
Therefore GDP can't be used to tell whether a country is truly prosperous or not.
